House Rep member, Muhammadu Wamakko dies

Barely 3 months after the sudden demise of Senator Isiaka Adeleke From Osun West Senatorial District, Hon Abdullahi Muhammadu Wamako Representing Kware/Wamakko Federal constituency also joins his Ancestors.



The death has occurred of a House member representing Kware/Wamakko federal constituency in Sokoto state, Hon. Abdullahi Muhammadu Wamakko. A cousin to Sentor Aliyu Wamakko, the ‎50 year old member died in an Abuja hospital after a brief illness.

 Wamakko was before his death, the vice chairman of House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) and a member of several other committees.

 He is survived by one wife and five children.

Fayose demands panel report on SGF Lawal & NIA DG, threatens to sue Osinbajo

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has demanded for the immediate release of the panel report on suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr David Babachir Lawal and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ayo Oke Fayose, who is also the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum chairman, made this demand in a letter addressed to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo. In the letter dated July 11, 2017 and received at the Acting President’s office on July 13, 2017, the governor also demanded that the Acting President must “act expeditiously on the report”. He also threatened to approach the law court to compel the Acting President to release and act on the report if he fails to do so.
