Delta State Secretariat, Delta Broadcasting Service, (DBS), former legislative quarters (Fine Homes), State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Okpanam, SSS Roads and others were all submerged by over three hours heavy down pour in Asaba. The Saturday down pour which started at about 6:00 am unleashed havoc on the entire state capital and its environs, damaging properties worth millions of naira. IN what is seem as a battle for supremacy in Delta state over the upcoming 2019 general elections, we can reliably report that the seemingly godfather of Delta state PDP, James Onanefe Ibori, may have drawn the battle line with his godson, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa as he has vowed not to attend any meeting called at the instance of the governor. His decision may not be unconnected with the poor performance of Mr Okowa as the Governor of Delta state.
