A dog was found abandoned at a Scottish train station next to a suitcase filled with its belongings and now the local animal welfare charity are looking for tips into who is the neglectful owner. The dog, a male shar-pei named Kai, was found sitting with a leash attached to a banister at the Ayr railway station on Jan. 2, according to the Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals . "Kai is around two to three years old and is a lovely dog with a nice nature," Scottish SPCA Inspector Stewart Taylor said in the group's release . Amazing Animals From Around the World The group reported that the suitcase contained a dog bowl, food, a pillow and toy -- although that doesn't clear the owner from wrongdoing. A Chihuahua in Southern California has a second chance at life after a near-fatal surgery. Julietta the Chihuahua underwent surgery for a broken leg at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility last week but after the procedure, her heart stopped beating, according to ABC News affiliate KGTV in San Diego. Dr. Julia Maher, who completed the operation, said the three-year-old dog had "was turning blue." Julietta didn't breathe for two minutes.      Some villagers are in deep trouble for stoning sacred pythons found on top of a grave, some of them could serve at least nine years in prison after they killed 20 pythons and the remaining 20 pythons had disappeared in Zimhofu, Zaka in Masvingo.                   Parks and Wildlife Management Authority spokesperson, Mrs Caroline Washaya-Moyo, confirmed receiving reports of the dumped pythons. A film production company, 2et Media Network Limited, has created a platform for upcom­ing artistes to be in the mainstream of filmmak­ing in Nigeria. Two staff of Tansian University, 52-years-old, Joseph Tsetim and 33-year-old Austine Ortiv, are now tell­ing the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Anambra State Police Command all they know about their alleged involve­ment in the issuance of fake admission letters to can­didates seeking to become students of the institution. The bubble burst for them when the authorities of the university discovered that the letters used by some of the students to secure admission into the institution were fake. The university also found out that some students who transferred to the university used fake tran­scripts of other universities. It was only by divine providence that no life was lost Thursday evening when a trailer rammed into some shops at the Shogunle area of Lagos, after developing mechanical faults. People who witnessed the inci­dent told Sunday Sun that the driver of the articulated truck, commonly known as trailer, attempted unsuc­cessfully to enter the road by the traffic light at the Ladipo junction where the road slopes slightly on the Agege Motorway. I wrote about the SONY  cyber-attack when company execs’ emails first emerged in the public domain. At the time, the PR narrative was starting to shift away from “Sony-as-victim” to “ Sony’s dirty little secrets .” The hack was so audacious, it eventually prompted an unprecedented retaliation by the U.S. government. As we all know, the story went through an unusually long (for a PR crisis) series of twists and turns. When I last checked, Sony found itself (to its apparent relief) viewed again as a victim and even a hero for defying the hackers’ threats and green-lighting the film for release (on VOD).
