Image
The President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, has said Nigeria is passing through a difficult phase of nation building, economic recession, rising insecurity and threat to its corporate existence as a nation due to actions of some citizens. In view of this, Saraki called on Nigerian pilgrims currently performing this year’s hajj to pray for the nation. In a statement issued yesterday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki said “a prayer for your country and her leaders is as important as asking Allah to grant you your personal wishes.” The Senate President, who is currently in Saudi Arabia for hajj, also asked Nigerians to use the occasion of the significance of Arafat Day holding today, Thursday, to pray for the quick recovery of the nation’s economy and good health for President Muhammdau Buhari. MOST DANGEROUS ROADS IN NIGERIA.

Image
Some persons see travelling as a normal way of moving;Going to see places but in another hand travelling is path of education,it is also a path of experience.at the long run after i traveled to so many places i found out that most of our express road in Nigeria are very bad and dangerous..This dangerous express road are as follows.. 1)First on the list is Abuja-Lokoja-Okene-Kabba : If you choose to travel round in the Southwest of Nigeria to Abuja through the Lokoja-Okene road in Kogi State, then you will understand that this is a road of death, journey of no return.apart from this bad road you should also know that gentle men on the highway are still on guard waiting like a lion looking for who to devour, because of this thousands of passengers travelling the Lokoja-Okene road to Abuja or to Ondo State have been waylaid by armed bandits and dispossessed of their goods. The same can be said of the Ilorin-Kabba-Lokoja road and the Lokoja-Obajana-Kabba road among others along that same...

Image
Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources, Downstream, Senator Kabiru Marafa, APC, Zamfara Central, yesterday, explained why he stopped the war with Senate president, Bukola Saraki, and the leadership of the 8th Senate. Marafa said he had to put an end to the fight with the Senate president, following the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling  All Progressives Congress, APC, that asked him to sheath his sword and embrace peace for national development. He also declared that his reason for dong that had nothing to do with chairmanship position of a “juicy committee” as being insinuated. Senator Marafa, who made the clarification against the backdrop of claims by a coalition of northern youths which had alleged that he had transmuted from a protagonists to shareholder since he became chairman of the committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream) on July 21, 2016, said there was no truth in the claim and allegations. Marafa had earlier been...

NIGERIAN POLITICIANS ARE DEFFICIENT OF POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES.

Image
EVERY POLITICIAN YOU KNOW IN NIGERIA THAT (CROSS-CARPETED) DECAMPED FROM ONE PARTY TO ANOTHER IS FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT. JUST LIKE THE SAYING GOES, WHEN DINNING WITH THE DEVIL USE A LONG SPOON, I WANT NIGERIANS TO KNOW THAT ALL THOSE DECAMPEES CANNOT BE TRUSTED. THREAD CAUTIOUSLY WITH THEM IN ANYTHING YOU DO, FOR THEY ARE PART OF DEMOCRACIES BIGGEST PROBLEMS. Long before the return of democracy, Nigerian politicians had been known to hold no scruples when it came to dumping a political party to which they had once sworn allegiance. Indeed, for our politicians, the saying that in politics there are no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interest is a truism. Since the First Republic, when the first mass defection occurred, politicians have been known to ditch their parties so long as their interest is no longer served. With the recent defections that have hit the PDP, it appears our politicians have still not learnt the democratic principles of party allegiance as...

WHY ATIKU ABUBAKAR CAN NEVER BECOME NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT.

Image
Its such a shame that after been part of those that brought Nigerian and Nigerians into this present state,he has the gods to call for restructuring,  claiming that Nigeria as currently constituted is an entity that is rooted in corruption, impunity and injustice and thus must be reconstituted Information detailing the corrupt activities of the Former Vice President – Mr. Atiku Abubakar, as gathered reveals the extent of Atikus corruption was more wide reaching as original perceived by Nigerians. It was  learnt that Atiku whose financial status was modest prior to his ascension to the office of the Vice President has exponentially increased in his financial wealth to the extent he  now owns 146 homes in Yola, Adamawa State  in addition a slew of transaction that run into the high millions. It is believed that former president Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku are equally messed in corruption.    ATIKU   served the Nigerian Custom...

The Saturday down pour which started at about 6:00 am unleashed havoc on the entire state capital and its environs, damaging properties worth millions of naira. They accused Okowa of...

2019: IBORI, OKOWA BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY TEARS DELTA PDP INTO SHREDS

Image
IN what is seem as a battle for supremacy in Delta state over the upcoming 2019 general elections, we can reliably report that the seemingly godfather of Delta state PDP, James Onanefe Ibori, may have drawn the battle line with his godson, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa as he has vowed not to attend any meeting called at the instance of the governor. His decision may not be unconnected with the poor performance of Mr Okowa as the Governor of Delta state. It would be recalled that Chief Ibori was equally absent in the Delta central mega rally which took place in Sapele only to attend the Thanksgiving service of the erstwhile speaker of the Delta state house of Assembly, Hon Ovwigho Igbuya in the same Sapele the next day. According to reports, the desperation of Okowa to put up a different political empire loyal to him and incapacitate perceived politicians loyal to Ibori is another possible reason why he has continually shun any meeting organised by the governor. It would also be recalled t...

“Leadership by deception isn't leadership. It's fraud.”

Image
SOME PEOPLE CALL HIM LEADER,WHILE SOME CALL HIM JAGABAN, BUT AFTER MY OWN FINDINGS I THINK I WOULD CALL HIM THE JAGABAN OF CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA.. You cannot fight corruption with coruption, for all forest fire starts from small and eventually grow massive. Anti-corruption is just a slogan, shouting about anti-corruption doesnt make you a pro-clean government person,it is your actions that count. If you know the party you support and its leaders are corrupt and you decide to close your eyes, my dear you are not part of the solution but part of the problem. Our ignorance on corruption is their power. And that brings me to my question, WHY HAS THE EFCC NOT COMMENCED INVESTIGATION ON JAGABAN??  IS IT BECAUSE HE IS ONE OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS AND CHIEF SPONSOR/FINANCIAL OFFICER OF THE INCUMBENT GOVERNMENT?? DO you know that "Before 1999, Tinubu had none of these: I never concured the story when i first saw it online, but after checking it out my brother na true sto...

It follows Ludlam’s resignation last week amid revelations he was a dual citizen, still holding citizenship in his country of birth, New Zealand.     Replacing Greens' Scott Ludlam and Larissa Waters can't start until parliament resumes The question of Ludlam’s eligibility must first be determined by the high court, sitting as the court of disputed returns. The WA Greens released a statement on Thursday night confirming backing for Steele-John if he is elected to the Senate as a result of a countback. “Jordon has been an active Greens member for many years, and is well known and respected outside the party for his wor...

BROAD DAYLIGHT FRAUD: Alcohol Loving Gov. Obiano Set to Dupe Other Guber Candidiates of Fund To Foot His November Election

Image
As the race for the November governorship race gets closer, the State Governor, Mr Willie Obiano has perfected plans to wreck other candidates financially, while ripping them financially to his benefit. One of the strategies put in place by him is imposing bills on aspirants who want to make use of billboards situated in the state. This revelation was made by one of the aspirants Osita Chidoka of United Peoples Party (UPP). According to him “under the draconian tariff, candidates are required to pay N5 million per view side of Unipoles; N5 millon per view side of gantries and bridge panels; and N10 million for LEDs. The state is also charging the candidates N5 million for posters per senatorial zone, N2 million per Federal Constituency and N500, 000 per Local Government. Our state has three senatorial zone, 11 federal constituencies and 21 Local Government Areas. If my campaign were to erect 3 Unipoles billboards per Local government, the 21 Local Governments in the state will...

NIGERIA’S TOP SMUGGLING KING WHO HAS PROTECTION FROM THE SENATE MAKING THEM TO FIGHT CUSTOM CG ALI WHO WANTS TO NAB HIM

Image
New insight into recent altercations between the Senate and the Comptroller General, CG, Col. Hameed Ali, of the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, are beginning to emerge which invariably points to actions of a major smuggler, airline owner and political financier, Dahiru Mangal. As gathered exclusively , Senate hard stance on the CG came barely days after a major operation to extradite Mangal from Chad to answer to alleged smuggling charges went awry. The smuggler and owner of Max Airline, a principal carrier for pilgrims to hajj, is believed to be the biggest smuggler in the country. He was major financier of Late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua’s election among other top politicians from the North. Apart from politicians, traditional rulers, chiefly from Katsina, his home state are beholden to him. He is said to have a lot of customs officers in his pocket, brings in as much as 400 trailers of contraband on each trip from the Northern borders; and escorts each of the convoy in a...
